Engaging Parents and Communities

Grassroots outreach programs will be implemented to orient parents and communities on the importance of education, particularly for girls. Some cultural and economic factors discourage schooling, but by raising awareness of the long-term value of education, especially its role in economic empowerment and social mobility, more families will be motivated to keep their children in school. Parents will also be informed of their role in shaping the future of their children through education.
